Woman Killed, Man Hospitalized in Urgent Donegal Crash

UPDATE: A tragic road traffic collision in Co. Donegal has left a woman dead and a man hospitalized. The incident occurred on the R262 at Tullynaglaggin in the Cill Riáin (Kilraine) area shortly before 3:50 PM on October 29, 2025.

Authorities report that the woman, aged in her 80s, was pronounced dead at the scene despite the rapid response from emergency services. Medical personnel made every effort to save her, but she succumbed to her injuries. Her body has since been removed from the site, leaving a community in shock.
