Fatal Motorcycle Collision Claims Life Near Kilcock, Ireland

A fatal road traffic collision occurred near Kilcock, Co. Kildare, resulting in the death of a female motorcyclist in her 60s. The incident took place shortly before midday on October 16, 2023, on the R148 at Killickaweeny, which connects Kilcock and Enfield. Emergency services arrived promptly, but the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been made public, and her body has been transported to the morgue in Naas for a post-mortem examination. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported in the crash involving the motorcycle and a truck.
