Oceania Cruises Unveils 129-Day Sydney to London Voyage

Oceania Cruises has announced the launch of its new “Kangaroo Route” sailing, a remarkable 129-day voyage that will take passengers from Sydney, Australia, to London, United Kingdom. This journey is part of the 2027 Around the World cruise and will visit over 80 ports across 34 countries and four continents. Bookings for this unique experience, which sets sail on February 26, 2027, are now open.
The Oceania Vista, a luxury ship with a capacity for 1,200 guests, will offer what the cruise line describes as a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Passengers will have the opportunity to explore a diverse range of cultural and natural wonders during this four-and-a-half-month journey. The itinerary includes overnight stays in cities such as Cairns, Shanghai, Tokyo, Singapore, Mumbai, Luxor, and Bordeaux.
Travelers will begin their voyage along Australia’s stunning coastlines before spending over two months delving into the rich cultural landscapes of Asia. The itinerary spans idyllic islands in Indonesia, the contrasts between ancient and modern Japan, and the vibrant spiritual environment of India. Following this, the cruise will navigate through the modern cities of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Doha, before heading to the historic sites of Egypt, eventually making its way to the Mediterranean.
Europe will provide an exquisite backdrop for the voyage, with stops at famed destinations including Greece, Italy, Croatia, and the French Riviera. The journey will culminate in London, where guests can reflect on their travels through a tapestry of cultures and culinary experiences.
“Our new Kangaroo Route, crafted from the epic 2027 Around the World cruise, is much more than a voyage – it’s a rare invitation to experience a vast part of the world with the comfort, warmth, sophistication, and exceptional cuisine that Oceania Cruises is renowned for,” stated Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Oceania Cruises. He emphasized the intent behind the itinerary to blend diverse continents, vibrant cultures, and authentic cuisines into an unforgettable experience.
The starting price for this exclusive sailing is $54,999 per person, which includes the Exclusive Prestige Package. This package offers a range of complimentary amenities, such as a choice between Free Unlimited Wine, Beer, and Spirits or a generous Shore Excursion Credit. Additional perks include Exclusive Shoreside Events, a Free Visa Package, and Free Luggage Delivery, enhancing the luxury experience for guests.
Aboard the Oceania Vista, travelers will enjoy an exceptional onboard experience characterized by elegance and comfort. The ship features all-veranda accommodations, providing the most spacious standard staterooms at sea, measuring an impressive 291 square feet. With a crew-to-guest ratio of two crew members for every three guests, the ship ensures personalized service at all times.
Culinary experiences are a highlight of the journey, with a dedicated chef for every eight guests. This allows for a focus on exquisite dining options, including 11 diverse restaurants offering a range of global cuisines. Guests can partake in Culinary Discovery Tours, hands-on cooking classes, and food and wine pairing experiences.
The onboard atmosphere is further enriched by eight sophisticated bars and lounges, along with the serene Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center. Guests can unwind while enjoying a variety of enrichment activities, including art classes and lectures by guest speakers. The cruise line also offers thousands of immersive small-group shore excursions, allowing guests to explore destinations through different lenses such as art, history, and cuisine.
In addition to the Kangaroo Route, Oceania Cruises has introduced three other itineraries as part of its 2027 Around the World voyage. These include a 180-day world journey from Miami to London, a 244-day Epic Global Adventure from Miami to New York, and a 127-day Continental Explorer sailing from Miami to Doha.
With its innovative offerings and commitment to luxury, Oceania Cruises continues to set new standards in the realm of global exploration, inviting travelers to embark on extraordinary journeys that transcend traditional cruise experiences.
