The upcoming season provides a diverse array of options, appealing to travelers seeking both adventure and cultural enrichment.

The itineraries will feature voyages aboard several of Seabourn’s premier ships, including Seabourn Pursuit, Seabourn Venture, Seabourn Encore, Seabourn Quest, and Seabourn Ovation. Altogether, this collection includes 111 departures, 72 unique itineraries, and visits to 369 destinations across 71 countries and all seven continents.

Highlights from the 2027-2028 Season

Among the standout offerings is the line’s inaugural “Pole-to-Pole: Grand Expedition,” a remarkable 94-day journey from the High Arctic to Antarctica. Other notable itineraries include an 11-day Baltic voyage that will visit iconic capitals and lesser-known ports in Denmark, Sweden, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, and Latvia. Additionally, guests will have the unique opportunity to experience a 14-day solar eclipse voyage in August 2027.

Guests can also participate in Seabourn Signature Events at select locations, enjoy maiden calls throughout Europe and Asia, and explore numerous UNESCO World Heritage sites. Mark Tamis, President of Seabourn, expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming season, stating, “Whether guests are drawn to the thrill of expedition travel or the allure of exploring hidden destinations, our 2027–2028 season offers life-expanding voyages for every kind of traveller.”

Expedition Voyages: Exploring Remote Regions

From March 2027 to April 2028, Seabourn Pursuit and Seabourn Venture will traverse 189 destinations across 39 countries on 28 unique itineraries, with voyages lasting from 8 to 94 days. These expeditions will include immersive experiences led by a 23-member Expedition Team composed of scientists, naturalists, scholars, and photographers. Guests can anticipate ice landings, rare wildlife encounters, and authentic cultural experiences.

“In the short time since we launched, Seabourn Pursuit and Seabourn Venture have reshaped expedition travel,” said Robin West, Seabourn’s Vice President and General Manager of Expeditions. “Expedition travel is about so much more than just sightseeing. With our expert expedition teams leading every exploration, our guests gain new perspectives on the natural wonders of the world and the diverse cultures that make these places special.”

Antarctica will be a focal point for the expedition cruises, where guests can witness towering ice shelves, penguin colonies, and pristine landscapes. Activities will include immersive Zodiac excursions, wildlife encounters with minke whales and penguins, and, conditions permitting, stepping onto the frozen sea from the ship’s side doors. Select itineraries will venture to South Georgia, the Falkland Islands, and the Chilean Fjords, all while enjoying luxurious accommodations.

Between October 2027 and March 2028, Seabourn Pursuit and Seabourn Venture will offer 19 departures to Antarctica, with each voyage including a pre-cruise hotel stay in Buenos Aires and round-trip charter flights to Ushuaia, Argentina.

The Arctic will also feature prominently in the 2027 season, with Seabourn Venture crossing the region during summer 2027. Guests can expect to observe diverse wildlife and learn about the indigenous cultures of the area while exploring Iceland, Greenland, and the Canadian Arctic. The ship will provide ample outdoor deck space for viewing the Northern Lights.

Summer Ocean Voyages: A Journey Through Iconic Destinations

From April to November 2027, Seabourn’s ocean-going fleet, including Seabourn Encore, Seabourn Quest, and Seabourn Ovation, will undertake 63 departures ranging from 7 to 20 days. These voyages will cover various regions, including Alaska, Canada and New England, the Mediterranean, Japan, and Northern Europe.

In Alaska, Seabourn Encore will offer luxurious voyages that provide a deep insight into the region’s natural beauty and wildlife, including opportunities to cruise iconic glaciers. From May to September 2027, the ship will make 18 departures visiting various ports and UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
