Amble Band Celebrates with Fans at Clonmany Pub Before Tour

The folk band Amble made a charming stop at the Wee Keg pub in Brineys, Clonmany, last week, just before their final show in Derry. Known as one of Ireland’s fastest-growing musical acts, the band was in the North West for three sold-out performances at the Millennium Forum.
Amble’s visit to the pub was a result of owner Arron Harkin‘s enthusiastic social media campaign. He aimed to entice the band to stop by and sign a vinyl record displayed on the pub wall. Utilizing TikTok, Harkin encouraged fans to tag Amble in hopes of catching their attention. The effort proved successful, leading to the band’s visit before their performance on Thursday, September 28, 2023.
During their time at the Wee Keg, band members Ross McNerney, Robbie Cunningham, and Oisín McCaffrey took the opportunity to engage with fans and the pub owner. Harkin expressed his gratitude, stating, “When I say they are the nicest people you will meet, it is an understatement. To see them live and to get a shoutout was amazing, and we are so, so grateful.”
Memorable Moments and Scenic Adventures
In addition to their pub visit, Amble enjoyed some leisure time in Inishowen. The band took a refreshing dip at Dunree Head and shared their scenic photographs on social media, further connecting with their fans.
Following their stop in Clonmany, Amble performed in front of a large audience at the Electric Picnic festival on September 30, 2023. Shortly thereafter, they departed for the United States to kick off their much-anticipated USA tour, starting today.
Their journey exemplifies the band’s rapid rise in the music scene, marked by their engaging performances and genuine interactions with fans. As Amble continues to gain popularity, their heartfelt connections with audiences remain a focal point of their identity.
