Holly Willoughby Praises Joanne McNally After Exciting Show

TV presenter Holly Willoughby expressed her admiration for Irish comedian Joanne McNally following their long-awaited meeting during McNally’s comedy show, Pinotphile, in London over the weekend. The event marks a highlight in McNally’s ongoing tour, which has already captivated audiences across the United Kingdom and is set to continue into Europe.
During the Friday night performance at a London venue, Willoughby shared her enthusiasm on social media, describing the evening as “the best night.” She posted a picture with McNally and fellow comedian Gearoid Farrelly, who has been the opening act for McNally’s tour. Willoughby praised McNally’s talent and mentioned her enjoyment of the podcast “My Therapist Ghosted Me,” co-hosted by McNally and Vogue Williams.
Positive Audience Reaction
In her Instagram post, Willoughby stated, “It was wonderful to finally meet you, Joanne, and the glorious Gearoid Farrelly. Thanks so much for the best night; my sister and I loved it!” This sentiment was echoed by many attendees at the gig, with others taking to social media to commend McNally’s performance. One audience member commented, “She was fantastic!” while another recalled their delight at a previous show in Brighton.
McNally’s show, which began earlier this year, has received widespread acclaim, with tickets for many dates already sold out. The tour continues throughout October and will include performances in Dublin, where all scheduled dates for this year are fully booked. However, some tickets remain available for shows in Killarney on November 14 and 21-22.
Looking Ahead
Following her UK tour, McNally will return to Dublin in December before extending her performances to Cork in 2026. Her ability to connect with audiences through humor and relatable content has solidified her status as a rising star in the comedy scene.
As the excitement surrounding McNally’s tour continues, Willoughby’s endorsement highlights the growing popularity of the comedian, further validating her hard work and talent in the industry. With a packed schedule ahead, both McNally and her fans have much to look forward to in the coming months.
