Kingfishr Joins Star-Studded Lineup on The Late Late Show

Kingfishr, the contemporary folk-pop band, is set to perform on The Late Late Show this week alongside a diverse lineup of guests, including Baz Ashmawy, David Walliams, and Kathleen Richards. The episode will be hosted by Patrick Kielty and promises engaging conversations and performances.
The band, fresh off an impressive year, will discuss their rise from college parties in Limerick to international acclaim. They will also share insights into how their hit song “Killeagh” became a defining anthem of the Irish summer. This appearance marks their first live television performance of their new single “Diamonds and Roses,” along with a special rendition of “Killeagh.”
Stars Reflect on Personal Journeys
In addition to Kingfishr, Baz Ashmawy will join Kielty to talk about his latest television ventures. Currently, Ashmawy hosts popular programs such as DIY SOS and The Money List, while also starring in the drama series Faithless. As he prepares to turn 50 this year, he will discuss the challenges of balancing a busy career and his enduring support from his mother, Nancy, who has been a significant influence in his life since the Emmy-winning series 50 Ways to Kill Your Mammy.
Kathleen Richards will share her harrowing story of living in the same house as notorious serial killers Fred and Rose West. Richards will recount the abuse she suffered during her time in their home and the dramatic night she escaped. She will also discuss the shocking realization of the full extent of the Wests’ crimes and her current mission to empower others who have faced similar traumas.
Entertainment Highlights and Upcoming Projects
Comedian and bestselling author David Walliams will also be featured, promoting his latest book, “Santa and Son.” This marks Walliams’ 44th publication and his first Christmas-themed book aimed at young readers.
