Andrew Banished from The Traitors After Shocking Blackmail

UPDATE: Andrew has been banished from Slane Castle just hours after being blackmailed by his father, Paudie, in a shocking twist on The Traitors Ireland. This dramatic turn of events unfolded during a nail-biting seventh episode that left viewers on the edge of their seats.
Late last night, Paudie blackmailed his son, pushing him to join the ranks of the Traitors in an attempt to win €50,000. Under immense pressure, Andrew accepted rather than face elimination. However, this decision proved disastrous as he became a prime target during the latest round table discussions.
As tensions mounted, the Faithfuls turned on Andrew, leading to a tie vote between him and casino dealer Patrick. A second vote sealed Andrew’s fate, resulting in his banishment from the game. In his emotional farewell, he praised his fellow players, stating, “You are all fabulous players and fabulous people. So keep doing what you are doing and if you haven’t found your voice, find it, because your voice is very important.” The room erupted in cheers as the Faithfuls celebrated capturing their third Traitor in as many nights.
Despite the celebratory atmosphere, Paudie struggled with mixed emotions. “I was feeling very deflated for him, if I’m honest. I hated seeing him in that position,” he confessed as he returned to the conclave alone. Host Siobhán McSweeney remarked, “Only last night you blackmailed your son into being a Traitor and he lasted less than 24 hours, I am sorry for your loss.”
The episode began with shocking revelations as four players—Joanna, Mark, Patrick, and Christine—were placed on death row. In a strategic move, Paudie and Andrew had selected these contestants the night before, leading to high stakes and tension-filled gameplay.
In a surprising twist, Andrew and Paudie’s group won a challenge, allowing them to save Christine, leaving Joanna, Mark, and Patrick at risk of elimination. Viewers can expect to find out who meets their end in Monday night’s episode, along with the identity of the Faithful who Paudie blackmailed to become a Traitor.
As the game progresses, all eyes are on Oyin, who has emerged as a dark horse. She boldly predicted that Paudie, Katelyn, and Eamon were all Traitors, and even correctly guessed Andrew’s status as a Traitor before his banishment. Currently, she is the bookmakers’ favorite to win at 4/1, closely followed by Paudie at 5/1.
With the stakes higher than ever, the remaining Traitor must navigate carefully as suspicions run rampant among the Faithfuls. The next episode promises more twists and turns, keeping fans glued to their screens.
The Traitors Ireland airs every Sunday at 9:30 PM and Monday and Tuesday at 9:35 PM on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player. Don’t miss the latest developments in this gripping reality series!
