BREAKING: Imelda May has just announced an exciting new tour, Raised on Songs and Stories, set to take place across Ireland in February 2026. The announcement was made via her Instagram, where she expressed her eagerness to perform live, stating, “I’m coming to you soon! 18 nights of an Irish tour. It’ll be an evening of songs, poems, stories, joy and beauty.”
The tour promises a fresh experience with stripped-back versions of her beloved songs, intertwined with her poetry and storytelling. This innovative format reflects her creative journey over the past few years, as she aims to share a more intimate connection with her audience.
TICKETS for Imelda May’s highly anticipated tour will go on sale on Friday, October 17, at 9 AM via ticketmaster.ie. Fans are urged to act quickly to secure their seats for this limited engagement.
The tour will include performances at notable venues across the country, starting at the Watergate Theatre in Kilkenny on February 2, followed by stops in Cork, Limerick, and multiple nights at Vicar Street in Dublin on February 9, 10, and 11. Here’s a full list of the tour dates:

In addition to the tour, Imelda May will debut a new six-part series titled Amhráin na nGael, Imelda May: The Songs of the Irish. This series will explore the rich musical heritage of Ireland, as she travels across the Gaeltacht regions, delving into her relationship with the Irish language through song and traditional sean-nós singing. The series is set to air on RTÉ 1 and RTÉ Player starting October 17 at 8:30 PM.
