Urgent Update: Daniel Aruebose’s Remains Found After Four Years

BREAKING: The skeletal remains of three-year-old Daniel Aruebose have been discovered in a marshy area of Donabate, County Dublin, following a shocking admission from his mother. This urgent development comes over four years after Daniel went missing, sending shockwaves through the community.
On September 1, 2023, Daniel’s mother revealed to Gardaí that she and her former partner had secretly buried him in a remote location along Portrane Road. Initially, she claimed Daniel was dead but insisted she did not know where his body was, directing investigators to his father, who has since relocated to Brazil.
In a dramatic turn, just days later, Daniel’s mother guided authorities to the burial site. Sources say she was “visibly relieved” when the remains were uncovered on September 17, 2023, just days after she marked the spot for investigators. The remains, believed to be Daniel’s, are now under investigation by a state pathologist and forensic anthropologist.
As investigations unfold, Gardaí have preserved the scene and will conduct a formal identification process, including DNA analysis and a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death. Daniel’s parents maintain he passed away in his sleep from natural causes, claiming they discovered him “ice cold” in his bed and panicked, burying him in a shallow grave.
Authorities report that there will be no immediate arrests as they await further forensic results. The investigation is being led by a Senior Investigating Officer from Swords Garda Station, with support from the Crime East DMR North Garda Division and community policing resources.
Gardaí continue to appeal to the public for any information regarding Daniel’s disappearance. They urge anyone with insights into the case to contact them at Swords Garda Station on 01 6664700 or the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111.
This tragic case highlights the emotional toll on the community and the enduring search for justice. Daniel was described as a lively child who loved his teddy bear and cherished moments like bathtime. As the investigation progresses, the community remains hopeful for clarity and closure.
