Wolfe Tones Set to Open for Oasis at Croke Park This Weekend

UPDATE: The Wolfe Tones are gearing up for a special performance as they prepare to “open” for Oasis at Croke Park this weekend, marking a historic moment in music history. The iconic band Oasis will play two sold-out concerts on August 16 and 17, 2025, almost 16 years after their infamous split.
New reports confirm that Liam Gallagher responded positively to a Twitter inquiry about the Wolfe Tones joining the lineup, stating he was “up for it.” The band humorously referenced this in a tweet, asking, “Any idea what time our sound check is at?” as they anticipate performing at the renowned Dublin venue.
The Wolfe Tones have experienced a career resurgence in recent years, culminating in their farewell tour, which included two massive concerts at Thomond Park in Limerick this past July. Brian Warfield, a prominent member of the band, expressed excitement about potentially reuniting for this special occasion, saying, “this is incredible news. Tell Liam we’ll be there. All we’re waiting for now is the official invitation.”
As anticipation builds, Oasis’s guitarist, Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs, has confirmed the band’s arrival in Dublin, generating a frenzy among fans and ensuring the country is “mad fer it.” With the weather finally turning favorable, Met Éireann forecasts a warm weekend for Dublin, with clear skies expected over Croke Park.
Concert doors are set to open at 5 PM, with support acts hitting the stage at 6 PM. Fans can expect Oasis to kick off their two-hour set around 8:15 PM, with the concert concluding around 10:30 PM.
This weekend promises to be a memorable one for music lovers in Dublin, as the Wolfe Tones and Oasis join forces to create an electrifying atmosphere. Stay tuned for what’s sure to be an unforgettable musical event!
