A fortunate player in Ireland has won a life-changing prize of €500,000 in the latest EuroMillions Plus draw. The winning ticket was purchased in Dublin, marking a significant moment for the lucky punter and highlighting the excitement surrounding the lottery.

The winning combination for the EuroMillions Plus draw included the numbers 14, 16, 35, 41, and 45. Alongside this substantial win, approximately 48,000 other players in Ireland also secured prizes across various draws, indicating a wave of good fortune for many.

In the main EuroMillions draw, one player successfully matched the numbers to claim a remarkable jackpot of €65,278,573. This ticket was sold in Spain, with the winning numbers being 27, 30, 31, 41, and 43, and the lucky stars 5 and 8. Additionally, another winner in the same draw received €743,932 for matching five numbers plus one lucky star.

Special Raffle and Future Draws

The EuroMillions Plus draw is part of a broader lottery system that includes a special Ireland-only raffle, which guarantees 10 winners of €5,000 each. This exclusive raffle takes place on Tuesdays and Fridays, and the winning numbers from the latest draw were: I-SNH-17783, I-SQF-38824, I-SQG-92764, I-SQJ-51360, I-SQK-32298, I-SQK-53226, I-SQL-22754, I-SQL-22791, I-SQM-73206, and I-SQN-01494.

This win follows the revelation of a life-changing jackpot of €17,008,295 sold to an online player from Co Mayo on August 27, 2023. This prize ranks as the third largest lottery jackpot in Ireland’s history since the National Lottery began in 1988. The winning numbers for this draw were 2, 6, 20, 22, 26, 39, with 5 as the bonus ball.

The two previous jackpots exceeding €17 million in Irish Lottery history were claimed in Mayo, which has now produced both the highest and third-highest jackpots. The second highest, €18,963,441, was won in Co Carlow in June 2008.

As the excitement continues, lottery officials encourage players to check their tickets regularly. With this recent surge in winners, the year 2023 has already celebrated its 17th National Lottery millionaire, joining other winners from Louth, Dublin, Kerry, Limerick, Kilkenny, and Waterford.
