URGENT UPDATE: The biggest and brightest Supermoon of 2025 is lighting up the night sky and will remain visible until tomorrow evening. The November full Moon, known as the Beaver Moon, reached its peak fullness on November 12, 2025, at 1:19 PM, offering an extraordinary view for stargazers worldwide.

This Supermoon appears up to 30% brighter than other full moons, captivating observers with its stunning luminosity. As the second Supermoon of the year, it follows last month’s Harvest Moon, with one final Supermoon set for December.

According to Dave Moore from Astronomy Ireland Magazine, this Supermoon will be the “brightest and biggest Full Moon people across Ireland will see in their lifetimes.” He encourages the public to capture the Moon alongside landmarks, creating spectacular photographs to be featured in upcoming publications.

“As it is rising and lowering, people can line up the Supermoon with statues, landmarks, buildings, aircraft, birds, landscapes, mountains, standing stones, ships, and seascapes to produce stunning photographs which we would be delighted to feature,” said Moore.

For those in major cities, the Beaver Moon has already graced the skies. Stunning images have emerged from places like New Delhi, where it shines brightly over Kartavya Path, and Mumbai, where it rises next to the iconic Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus. Observers in Frankfurt can see it near the European Central Bank, while those in Dresden catch glimpses behind the State Chancellery.

Across Washington DC, the Beaver Moon has also made its presence felt, captivating viewers as it rises and sets in the clear skies. With optimal viewing conditions, tonight and tomorrow evening are prime opportunities to witness this celestial event.

Those eager to see the Beaver Moon should find a spot with a clear view of the horizon and take advantage of the bright display. This remarkable astronomical phenomenon not only provides a stunning visual experience but also connects people to the natural world.
