Garda Escalation: Hose Attack During High-Speed Vehicle Seizure

UPDATE: Tensions soared in Ballinacurra Weston, Limerick, as a Garda was attacked with a hose during a chaotic attempt to seize a high-powered vehicle. Witnesses report that the situation escalated rapidly as Garda attempted to apprehend a 2008 Range Rover involved in a high-speed pursuit. However, Det Garda O’Halloran disputed this, labeling the claims as “unbelievable.”

Despite the emotional plea from Ms. Mitchell’s defense, who stated she has been relying on a borrowed car since the seizure, Judge Coolican ultimately denied the request to return the vehicle, emphasizing the need for law enforcement to act decisively against dangerous driving.
