Urgent Investigation Launched After Irish Woman Found Dead in NY

UPDATE: An urgent investigation is underway following the shocking discovery of an Irish woman found dead on a boat at the Montauk Yacht Club in Long Island, New York. Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra, a 33-year-old resident of Manhattan, was reported unconscious on the vessel in the early hours of Tuesday.
Emergency services pronounced Nolan-O’Slatarra dead at the scene shortly after responding to a 12:00 AM 911 call. Authorities report that good Samaritans attempted CPR prior to their arrival, but tragically, it was too late. The Suffolk County Police Department confirmed that an autopsy is pending with the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of death.
