Ireland AM Host Siomha Ni Ruairc Announces Departure for New Ventures
Siomha Ni Ruairc, co-host of the popular breakfast show Ireland AM, has announced her departure after two years on the program. The Lucan native revealed her decision via an Instagram post, citing the need for a change as she embarks on new ventures, including the arrival of her first child.
In her statement, Siomha expressed gratitude for her time on the show, stating, “After two amazing years I’m taking a step away from Ireland AM. Between the early starts and the other projects I’m working on, it’s the best decision for me right now.” She acknowledged the support of her colleagues, highlighting the “dedicated, driven and super supportive team behind the camera” and praising the contributions of her fellow presenters, Martin King and Elaine Crowley.
