A fortunate player from Ireland has won a life-changing prize in the EuroMillions Plus draw, taking home a remarkable €500,000. The winning ticket was sold in Dublin, and the draw also saw approximately 48,000 other Irish players winning smaller prizes. The winning numbers for the EuroMillions Plus draw were 14, 16, 35, 41, and 45.
In addition to the significant win in Dublin, another 50 players matched four numbers and received €2,000 each. The EuroMillions main draw featured a jackpot worth €65,278,573, which was claimed by a ticket sold in Spain. The winning numbers for this draw were 27, 30, 31, 41, and 43, with lucky stars 5 and 8.
Additional Wins and Raffles Enhance Irish Lotto Excitement
A player also won an impressive €743,932 by matching five numbers and one lucky star. Furthermore, the Ireland-only raffle draw added to the excitement, guaranteeing ten winners each time it is held. Each of these winners received €5,000 in the latest draw, which takes place on Tuesdays and Fridays. The winning raffle numbers were as follows: I-SNH-17783, I-SQF-38824, I-SQG-92764, I-SQJ-51360, I-SQK-32298, I-SQK-53226, I-SQL-22754, I-SQL-22791, I-SQM-73206, and I-SQN-01494.
This announcement follows a recent revelation from the Irish Lottery regarding a separate life-changing jackpot of €17,008,295, which was won by an online player from Co Mayo on August 27, 2023. This win ranks as the third largest lottery jackpot in Ireland’s history since the game’s inception in 1988. The winning numbers for this particular draw were 2, 6, 20, 22, 26, 39, with 5 as the bonus ball.
Historical Context of Irish Lottery Wins
Only two previous jackpots in the National Lottery’s history have surpassed €17 million. Since the lottery began in 1988, Co Mayo has now achieved both the highest jackpot at €19,060,800 and this recent third highest win. The second-largest jackpot, won in Co Carlow in June 2008, was €18,963,441.
This latest victory marks the seventh jackpot recipient of 2025, joining other winners from Louth, Dublin, Kerry, Limerick, Kilkenny, and Waterford. Additionally, this win designates the player as the 17th National Lottery millionaire of the year, further highlighting the excitement surrounding lottery draws in Ireland. Players are urged to check their tickets, as significant prizes continue to be claimed across the country.
