The Weeknd Expands Stadium Tour with Second Croke Park Concert
The Weeknd has announced a second concert at Croke Park, scheduled for August 23, 2026. This addition is part of his extensive and record-breaking After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour, which is set to traverse Mexico, Brazil, Europe, and the UK. The announcement follows the previous date revealed last week, which is set for August 22, 2026.
Tickets for both concerts will be available for general sale starting tomorrow, September 12, 2025, at 12:00 PM. Interest has been high, with presales for the initial date already taking place. The Weeknd’s impressive popularity is underscored by his status as a multi-platinum and seven-time Diamond certified artist, making him one of the most-streamed musicians globally. Currently, he boasts 111 million monthly listeners on Spotify, holding the record for the highest number of monthly listeners for over two consecutive years.
His single “Blinding Lights” has received widespread acclaim, achieving RIAA Diamond certification and earning the title of the greatest Billboard Hot 100 song of all time, surpassing the iconic 1960 hit “The Twist” by Chubby Checker. Joining him on all European and UK tour dates, including the concerts in Dublin, will be fellow artist Playboi Carti.
Tour Details and Philanthropic Efforts
The tour is produced by Live Nation and sponsored by Nespresso. The next leg will commence on April 20, 2026, in Mexico City at Estadio GNP Seguro, with additional shows planned in cities such as Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paris, Amsterdam, Milan, London, and Madrid. The After Hours Til Dawn Tour celebrates The Weeknd’s acclaimed album trilogy, which includes “After Hours” (2020), “Dawn FM” (2022), and “Hurry Up Tomorrow” (2025). The North American segment of the tour featured over 40 sold-out stadium performances.
Ticket prices for the Dublin concerts range from €60.85 to €690, subject to Ticketmaster fees. As part of his commitment to social causes, The Weeknd is collaborating with Global Citizen to raise funds aimed at providing quality education for children worldwide through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. Additionally, he will continue his partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) to support the XO Humanitarian Fund, which addresses the ongoing global hunger crisis.
For every ticket sold in Europe, €1 will be donated, alongside £1 in the UK and the equivalent of $1 in Mexico and Brazil, to these organizations. Fans also have the chance to earn a pair of free tickets for each tour date by participating in initiatives to combat extreme poverty with Global Citizen. More details can be found at www.globalcitizen.org.
The Weeknd’s expanding tour not only promises exhilarating performances but also reflects his commitment to leveraging his platform for meaningful social contributions.
