New LK63 Local Link Bus Service Launches in County Limerick

A new public transport option is now available in County Limerick, with the launch of the LK63 Local Link bus service. The route, connecting Kilmallock to Kilfinane, began operations on October 3, 2023. This service will provide three return journeys every Friday and Saturday evening, enhancing connectivity for residents and visitors in the region.

The LK63 route serves several key locations, including Kilmallock, Bulgaden, Martinstown, and Kilfinane. By offering these connections, the service aims to facilitate travel for those commuting for work, social activities, or leisure.

Niall Collins, a local TD and Minister of State at the Department of Justice, expressed his enthusiasm about the service’s initiation. He described it as “hugely positive news” for the community. Earlier this year, Collins met with Darragh O’Brien, the Minister for Transport, along with representatives from TFI Local Link in Limerick to discuss the establishment of this service.
