Gardaí Arrest Three, Seize Over €300,000 in Dublin Drug Bust
URGENT UPDATE: Gardaí have arrested three individuals, including two women and a man, during a significant operation targeting an organized crime group in Dublin. The operation, which took place yesterday, resulted in the seizure of over €300,000 in cash, marking a substantial blow to ongoing drug trafficking and money laundering activities in the Dublin Metropolitan Region.
During the operation, multiple homes in Dublin’s North Inner City were searched, leading to the recovery of €301,000 in total. Notably, €35,000 was confiscated from one property, while a staggering €266,000 was found at another location. Gardaí are emphasizing the importance of this operation in dismantling organized crime networks that pose a threat to community safety.
The three arrested individuals include a man in his 40s, a woman in her 30s, and another woman in her 60s. All are currently being held at local Garda stations as investigations continue. A Garda spokesperson confirmed, “Investigations are ongoing, and further updates will follow.”
