First Dates Ireland Couple Expect Baby Just Three Months Later
A couple who met on the popular show First Dates Ireland has announced they are expecting a baby just three months after their initial meeting. Fayth Byrne and James Farrell felt an immediate connection during their first date, which aired on RTÉ. Their relationship has quickly blossomed into something profound, with both expressing their excitement about the upcoming addition to their family.
Fayth was drawn to James’ confidence and outgoing nature, while he shared that being single “doesn’t suit” him. “I go a bit mad when I’m by myself. I feel comfortable in a relationship,” James stated. After their first date, the couple spent only one day apart, meeting again for coffee the very next day during James’ lunch break.
Rapid Relationship Development
The strong bond between Fayth and James has continued to grow. Just two weeks after their initial meeting, James met Fayth’s mother, who has since come to adore him. Their whirlwind romance took another unexpected turn when, three months after their episode aired, Fayth discovered she was pregnant.
“It was a big shock to both of us and both of our families, but we are over the moon,” Fayth shared. She noted that her struggle with endometriosis made the news particularly surprising, as it typically reduces the chances of conception.
Looking ahead, the couple plans to host a gender reveal party next week, featuring Fayth popping a balloon and James kicking a football, a sport he is passionate about. James expressed his hopes that their child might follow in the footsteps of notable athletes such as Katie McCabe or Troy Parrott. While Fayth believes they are expecting a girl, James is convinced their baby will be a boy.
A Fairytale Romance
As they prepare for this new chapter, both Fayth and James are filled with joy at the prospect of welcoming a child together. “It’s not even like real life; it’s honestly like straight out of a book,” James remarked, sharing his feelings for Fayth. “I got what I wanted,” he added, emphasizing the fulfillment he feels in their relationship.
Their episode of First Dates Ireland aired just last week and is available for viewing on the RTÉ Player. As they embark on this journey of parenthood, the couple’s story serves as a heartwarming reminder of the unexpected joys that love can bring.
