Letterkenny’s Value Centre Plans Major Expansion with New Facilities

Plans have been submitted to the Donegal County Council for a significant expansion of the Value Centre located in Letterkenny. The proposed development, which spans 1,793 square metres (approximately 19,300 square feet), aims to enhance the existing facilities at the outlet situated on Port Road.

The application, lodged under the name of Tracklands Investments Ltd., includes several key features designed to improve operational efficiency and staff welfare. Among the proposed upgrades are an extension to the current warehouse, the addition of a new chill room and freezer, and the expansion of the existing truck yard and turning area. Furthermore, the plans incorporate new accommodation for staff welfare and office space.

In addition to these enhancements, the application also requests a ‘retention’ permission for a single-storey dispatch extension to the existing warehouse, along with portable refrigeration accommodation. This comprehensive expansion is set to bolster the Value Centre’s capacity, positioning it to better serve its customer base.
