Join the Letterkenny Coffee Morning for Autism Support This Friday
The Autism Family Support Group in Letterkenny is set to host a coffee morning on December 19, inviting community members to gather for a warm beverage and to support a worthy cause. The event will take place at the Letterkenny Library from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with everyone welcome to join in the festive atmosphere.
In addition to the coffee morning, the group is organizing a Christmas raffle featuring an impressive array of prizes. The top prize is a 55-inch television, with raffle tickets priced at €5 each or three for €10. Participants will have a chance to win one of 30 prizes, including €250 worth of heating oil, five bags of coal, a Shop LK voucher, and vouchers valued at €50 for both Smyths and Mac’s Deli.
All proceeds from the raffle will directly support the Autism Family Support Group, a charity dedicated to assisting families living with autism. The organization strives to create a nurturing environment where young people with autism feel valued, while their parents and caregivers receive the necessary support.
Through its initiatives, the Autism Family Support Group aims to educate and empower young individuals alongside their families, while also raising awareness about autism within the local community. The coffee morning and raffle represent a vital opportunity for community engagement and financial support for the group’s ongoing efforts.
The Autism Family Support Group encourages all members of the community to come out for this event, enjoy some coffee, and take part in the raffle for a chance to win exciting prizes. Your participation will not only provide a delightful morning but also contribute to a meaningful cause that impacts many families in the area.
