Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest Set for Europa League Rematches

Villa will travel to northern France for the first leg on March 12, 2024, with the return match scheduled for March 19 in Birmingham. In their previous encounter, Villa triumphed over Lille on penalties during the quarter-finals of the Conference League in 2024.

Should Villa emerge victorious against Lille, they will advance to face the winner of the all-Italian tie between Bologna and Roma in the quarter-finals. The first leg against Midtjylland will also take place on March 12, with the second leg on March 19. If Forest wins, they could face either the German Cup holders VfB Stuttgart or two-time winners FC Porto in the quarter-finals.

The Europa League final is set to take place at the home of Besiktas in Istanbul on May 20, 2024. The quarter-finals will commence with the first legs on April 9 and the second legs on April 16, followed by the semi-finals starting on April 30 and concluding on May 7.
