Urgent Appeal After Fatal Lorry-Van Crash in Coleraine

UPDATE: A tragic collision on November 20, 2025, has resulted in the death of a man in Coleraine. The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) confirmed that a lorry and a white Peugeot Partner van were involved in the crash on Windyhill Road, shortly after 9:45 AM local time.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, but unfortunately, the driver of the van was pronounced dead at the site of the collision. Chief Inspector Celeste Simpson from the Collision Investigation Unit expressed deep regret over the incident, stating, “Our officers attended, along with our colleagues from partner emergency services. Sadly, however, the driver of the van was confirmed deceased at the scene.”
