Details of the Carbon Capture System

The first module of the DAC technology will be established at Neg8 Carbon‘s headquarters in Waterford. It is projected to capture approximately 50 tonnes of carbon dioxide annually. This project aims to enhance the effectiveness and affordability of DAC solutions, thereby facilitating their scalability as Neg8 Carbon prepares for commercial deployment on an international scale.

Neg8 Carbon is known for its innovative approach to carbon capture, specializing in electrostatic technology. This method draws in air and channels it through a specially designed sorbent system that effectively attracts and retains carbon dioxide molecules. The captured carbon can be either stored underground permanently or transformed into sustainable products, including climate-neutral aviation fuel.
