Limerick’s Stacey Dineen Launches Monthly Music Releases Today
UPDATE: Limerick singer-songwriter Stacey Dineen has just announced her plan to release a new single every month starting today, January 4, 2024. This marks a significant relaunch of her music career after a hiatus during the pandemic, and fans can expect her first single, titled Dizzy, to drop on all major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon.
Stacey, who has been writing songs since she was just six years old, has deep roots in music. Currently managing The Windmill Cafe in Glenbrohane with her husband, Brady, and aunt, Mary Bourke, she draws inspiration from her childhood idol, Hannah Montana. “I was obsessed with Hannah Montana, I got a blonde wig like her and everything,” Stacey recalls fondly, highlighting her early passion for music.
With a unique vocal style that has drawn comparisons to Canadian artist Tate McRae, Stacey emphasizes that her unusual voice is her “super power.” “I can write the same songs as everyone else, but to have something different – it helps,” she states, showcasing her confidence and creativity.
Stacey’s songwriting process is unconventional yet effective. She admits, “I bring up a beat and then literally just have the song written in about half an hour.” This rapid creation method has already led to three successful releases with airplay on BBC and 2FM prior to her break during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now, as she embarks on this exciting new journey, Stacey is eager to reconnect with her audience. “I can’t wait for everyone to hear Dizzy and the new music I have planned for this year,” she says. With a commitment to deliver fresh tracks monthly, Stacey aims to keep her fans engaged and excited.
Stay tuned as Stacey Dineen reshapes the music scene in Limerick and beyond, offering a compelling blend of heartfelt lyrics and captivating melodies. Follow her journey on social media and streaming platforms to catch all her latest releases and updates. This is just the beginning for Stacey, and the music world will be watching closely.
